Job Description

Order Packer Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Order Packer to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, receiving, and shipping products in a fast-paced environment. This role requires proficiency with inventory tracking systems and packing tools, as well as a strong focus on accuracy and safety. The Order Packer plays a vital part in ensuring customer orders are fulfilled correctly and efficiently, contributing to overall warehouse operations. Responsibilities Carefully pick items from inventory based on order specifications using handheld scanners and barcode readers Pack products securely using appropriate packing materials and tools such as tape guns, box cutters, shrink-wrap equipment, and pallet jacks Verify quantities and inspect products to ensure quality standards are met before shipment Prepare shipments by labeling packages accurately and completing necessary shipping documentation Receive incoming stock, verify quantities, and update inventory records accordingly Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency during packing operations Use basic math skills to perform inventory counts, recordkeeping, and order verification tasks Follow safety protocols when operating packing tools and handling warehouse equipment Experience Prior experience working in a warehouse or fulfillment center is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Familiarity with inventory management systems, handheld scanners, barcode readers, and shipping software is advantageous Strong attention to detail with the ability to verify product accuracy and inspect items thoroughly Ability to safely operate packing tools such as tape guns, box cutters, shrink-wrap machines, and pallet jacks Basic math skills for inventory management and order processing Good organizational skills with the ability to work efficiently in a team environment or independently
Pay:
From $14.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 40.0 per week
