Position Summary:
The Bulk Packer is responsible for packaging finished food products into bulk containers while maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency standards. This role requires consistent heavy lifting, attention to detail, and adherence to food safety regulations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Shift Hours:
Monday - Friday 6:00 am to 3:00 pm Description of Duties Package food products into bulk containers (e.g., boxes, bins, bags, pallets) according to company specifications Safely lift, move, and stack materials weighing up to 50-75 lbs on a repetitive basis Inspect products for quality defects and report any issues to supervisors Operate basic packaging and labeling equipment as assigned Maintain accurate counts and complete required production documentation Ensure proper labeling, sealing, and palletizing of finished goods Follow all food safety (GMP), sanitation, and hygiene standards Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations Assist with line setup, changeovers, and cleanup as needed Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals All other duties as assigned
Essential Skills and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred Ability to perform physically demanding work consistently Strong attention to detail and reliability Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Basic math skills for counting and recording quantities Preferred Skills and experience : Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or food production environments Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or HACCP standards Physical demands and work environment: The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that an employee must meet to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Work Environment:
