Job Description

Summary Sorts peanuts by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Segregates peanuts on the conveyor belt according to grade. Discards cull (inferior or defective) items and foreign matter. Record the number of defective peanuts, foreign material rocks, sticks, and wire. Inspects the flow of peanuts for foreign material and non-edible peanuts. Follows FOOD safety responsibilities while supporting all BRC and HACCP guidelines. Assist with sanitation and production as needed. Follows all Good Manufacturing Practices. At times may work as a bagging of forklift operator. Assists with any other duties as assigned by Production Supervisor. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
