Job Description

Shifts:
M-F 6:00am - 2:30pm // 2:30pm - 11:00pm
Compensation:
$14 // $15 POSITION SUMMARY Perform visual inspection at all levels for raw and coated materials (as determined by the QC Department) to ensure quality standards are met.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES
Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as business demands. Manual inspection of cut Canvas, Art paper sheets. Packaging materials in boxes form through a heat shrink tunnel or manually for full width or slit rolls. Hand assembly of packaging materials. Assist in operation of one or more of the following pieces of equipment: sheeting equipment, cutting equipment, pouching, and other packaging equipment. Maintain appropriate housekeeping and process cleanliness. Work closely with others in a team environment to meet safety, quality and production goals.
Interface with existing computer systems:
Email, PC applications (Word & Excel). Physical and / or mechanical movement of materials manually and with pallet jacks and fork trucks. Perform other duties as requested/required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Regularly required to stand, stoop, kneel and/or crouch. Capable to lift or move 50 lbs. Occasionally required to climb or balance. Ability to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls: reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch.
EDUCATION
Graduation from high school or GED equivalent preferred. One (1) year relevant experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to do the job.
WORKING CONDITIONS
The work is performed in a warehouse temperature-controlled environment. Workers are regularly exposed to dust, odor and noise. The employee works with moving mechanical parts and machinery.
