In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently assembling, packing, and preparing items for shipment in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations. Your attention to detail and mechanical aptitude will ensure that each package meets quality expectations while maintaining a safe and organized workspace. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced manufacturing environment that values accuracy, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Carefully package products using appropriate materials, ensuring protection during transit and compliance with packaging standards. Operate hand tools and mechanical equipment to assemble components or prepare items for shipment. Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to monitor and adjust packaging machinery for optimal performance. Follow FDA regulations and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP) to maintain product integrity and safety. Conduct quality checks on packaged items, verifying labels, quantities, and overall presentation before shipping. Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment by adhering to safety protocols and housekeeping standards. Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to move materials within the facility when necessary. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience handling hand tools and assembly processes. Familiarity with packaging techniques specific to manufacturing environments. Knowledge of FDA regulations and CGMP guidelines relevant to product handling and packaging. Experience operating programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to troubleshoot or optimize machinery. Warehouse experience including forklift operation and inventory management is preferred. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
