Role:

The Picker Foam Day position at American Leather LLC is crucial for ensuring the efficient and accurate selection of foam materials used in the manufacturing of durable goods. This role involves working closely with the production team to meet daily production targets while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. The Picker will be responsible for organizing and managing foam inventory, ensuring that the right materials are available for production processes. Attention to detail and a commitment to following safety protocols are essential to minimize waste and enhance productivity. Ultimately, the Picker Foam Day contributes significantly to the overall success of the manufacturing operations by ensuring that the necessary materials are prepared and available for use.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Ability to lift and move heavy materials safely.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with inventory management systems. Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipment. Knowledge of safety regulations in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities:

Select and pick foam materials according to production orders and specifications. Organize and maintain foam inventory, ensuring proper labeling and storage. Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and timelines. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while handling materials. Conduct regular quality checks on foam materials to ensure compliance with company standards.

Skills:

The required skills for this position include attention to detail, which is essential for accurately picking the right materials and ensuring quality standards are met. Physical stamina and strength are necessary for lifting and moving foam materials throughout the day. Communication skills are important for collaborating effectively with team members and understanding production needs.
