$18.00/hr About Us Barton Springs Mill produces fresh, stone-milled flours and whole grains for bakeries, restaurants, and home bakers. We value quality, consistency, and supporting Texas grain farmers. Position Summary The Retail Packing and Fulfillment Operator is a flex position with time spent packaging retail products in the Production Room and preparing retail orders for shipping in the Fulfillment Center, all while maintaining high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and accuracy. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities Label, fill, weigh, and seal retail flour and grain products using small-scale packaging equipment Maintain orderly stock (FIFO) of finished product inventory, pick and pack product Maintain clean, organized, food-safe workspaces Follow the food safety plan, organic compliance rules, and GMP requirements Maintain excellent personal hygiene (handwashing, PPE, etc.)
Qualifications Required:
Transportation to Dripping Springs Ability to perform repetitive tasks, stand for long periods, and to lift 50 lbs Reliable, good communicator, and willing to learn Strong attention to detail Basic computer proficiency (Shopify, Microsoft Excel a plus) Commitment to proper personal hygiene in a food-production environment
Preferred:
Food manufacturing or general production experience Basic mechanical aptitude Forklift or scissorlift experience Compensation & Benefits $18.00/hr starting pay Excellent PTO package following a 90-day probationary period Medical benefits (BCBSTX) following a 60-day waiting period Full-time, 30 to 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with weekend availability a plus
