Our client, a wholesaler and online retailer, is seeking an experienced, dependable, and hands-on Warehouse Order Picker/Material Handler in Houston, TX . This position involves moving and handling pallets and boxed furniture/products throughout the warehouse. This is not a forklift-only position. Candidates must be willing and physically able to work throughout the warehouse and assist wherever needed. You will not remain on a cherry picker or sit-down forklift for the entire shift.

The Day-to-Day:

Pick, pull, stage, and prepare customer orders accurately. Move and organize pallets throughout the warehouse. Operate warehouse equipment as assigned, including cherry pickers and sit-down forklifts. Load, unload, stage, and relocate boxed furniture and other products.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED Minimum 3 years of recent proven warehouse/material handling experience, including experience moving pallets. Previous experience operating warehouse equipment and moving palletized products. Must understand that this is a hands-on material handling position—not strictly an equipment operator position. Must be physically capable of lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, standing, walking, and assisting with products throughout the shift.

Pay Rate:

$18.00 to $20.00 /hr
