We are looking for a Quality Control Checker for a premier cold storage and distribution facility. As the final set of eyes on every shipment, you will play a critical role in ensuring food safety and order accuracy. The QC Checker is the "Gatekeeper" of the warehouse. You are responsible for inspecting incoming and outgoing perishable goods to ensure they meet strict quality, temperature, and documentation standards. This role requires a high level of integrity, as you are the last person to verify an order before it reaches the customer.

Responsibilities:

Quality Inspection:

Visually inspect produce or frozen goods for signs of spoilage, damage, or improper handling.

Accuracy Verification:

Cross-reference physical pallet counts against Bills of Lading (BOL) and digital picking lists to ensure 100% order accuracy.

Compliance Documentation:

Maintain detailed HACCP and food safety logs to ensure the facility meets all federal and industrial standards.

Loading Supervision:

Ensure pallets are properly shrink-wrapped, labeled with correct "Use By" dates, and loaded safely into refrigerated trailers. ...

8:00 AM - 5:00

PM Skills:

Ability to read and speak in both English and Spanish.

Tech Savvy:

Experience using RF scanners and basic warehouse management software.

Certification:

Knowledge of HACCP, OSHA, or Food Safety standards.
