Duties Assist with the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of extrusion machinery using programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to maintain optimal production flow. Support the packaging process by operating packaging equipment, ensuring products are correctly packed according to manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs). Handle materials safely and efficiently, including heavy lifting and proper use of material handling equipment such as forklifts. Interpret production documents and work instructions accurately to ensure compliance with FDA regulations, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), and safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the manufacturing area, adhering to safety protocols and GMP guidelines. Conduct routine inspections of industrial equipment, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and report any mechanical troubleshooting needs promptly. Follow safety standards in production environments, including proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and adherence to safety protocol procedures. Support warehouse operations by managing materials handling tasks, inventory control, and ensuring timely movement of raw materials and finished goods. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment effectively. Familiarity with manufacturing facility operations, including GMP regulations and FDA compliance standards. Experience operating packaging equipment and material handling tools such as forklifts. Ability to interpret production documents accurately and follow detailed standard operating procedures. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality checks during production runs. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in automated manufacturing processes. Understanding of safety standards related to heavy lifting, warehouse operations, and industrial equipment use.
