PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY

As End Man the position is primarily responsible for working with a team to assemble doors with accurate internal components placed in the appropriate positions between door skins. The End Man works as a team with the Lead Man and MIddle Man on the wet side of the glue spreader and the Ticket Reader and Stile Feeder on the dry side of the glue spreader to build quality doors.

REPORTS TO

Layup Supervisor DUTIES:

Place caul board and skin against stand offs to ensure a square build Accept internal components (stiles, rails, foam, core) that have passed through a glue spreader being careful to follow company processes Place internal components in the proper places on the back of the door skin following company standards Continue to place skins and add the internal components until the press requirements are met Comply with company policies and procedures and assist in keeping a safe working environment Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse Substitute as necessary for other staff Any other tasks or projects that may be assigned by Supervisor or Manager

WORKING CONDITIONS

Work week is Monday - Friday 6:00am to 6:30pm Occasional Saturdays are required High degree of attention required to ensure doors are built according to the production schedule Ability to squat, sit, stand, walk, reach daily and as needed to perform all job functions Fast-paced environment High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others, material, and equipment

Ability to achieve and maintain knowledge of inventory material to ensure doors are built with the appropriate materials Ability to work overtime including weekends Attention to detail Good attendance record and work ethic Ability to lift 50 pounds
