HOUR GENERAL PURPOSE
The purpose of this position is to ensure that our Central Production Facility products are prepared, labeled, and boxed for shipping accurately. This person will be packaging, labelling, and preparing Central Production Facility products for distribution to stores.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Label packages accurately according to product and order specifications Package products following recipes and food safety guidelines Box and transfer finished products to designated shipping coolers Ensure products that are personally prepared are run through X Ray machines prior to boxing Inspect products for quality and report any issues Maintain a clean and organized work area Rotates products as needed in shipping cooler and freezer Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures Work efficiently as part of a production line team Completes assigned tasks efficiently and in a timely manner Sets a professional and positive example to others Assists as needed to ensure the success of the store as a whole

Desired knowledge, skills, and abilities: Any combination of education, experience, and training which provides the following knowledge, skills, and abilities: Basic math skills Current food handler's permit Prior experience in food production or packaging Must enjoy working with and handling fresh food products including but not limited to raw meat, fresh vegetables, hummus, raw dough, etc. Basic ability to read and follow instructions and labels Ability to interpret policies and procedures Excellent organization and planning skills Must possess solid communication skills, including verbal and listening skills in order to effectively and efficiently communicate with diverse groups of people Ability to work in a cold environment (refrigerated and freezer areas) Comfortable standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks Knowledge of food safety practices Must possess the ability to accept constructive review and be accountable for one's own success as well as the success of your team Must possess integrity, a positive attitude, be mission-driven, and be self-directed with a demonstrated passion for Harmons' mission and commitment to working collaboratively Continually strives to be product minded, customer minded, personnel minded, detailed, forward focused, and consistent Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
