Loading Supervisor Position Summary This labor-intensive position is responsible Merging items prior to loading into trucks. Being a Merger requires strict attention to order accuracy with respect to the stops listed. Position is responsible for accuracy in placing picked items in their corresponding pallet in preparation for the pallet to be loaded onto the truck. Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Take inventory of materials on loading dock, and ensure that all product is accurately staged, and properly stacked.
- Verify labels are on all packaging and check for damaged or outdated products before loading.
- Report shortages, damages, non-conformance, and other discrepancies as outlined in company policy.
- Check for frozen perishable products on cooler dock/freezers and merge with correct order.
- Ensure all pallets are built according to route/stop and are securely wrapped to avoid damage during transport.
- Adherence to all warehouse safety procedures ensuring the safety and quality of all products and materials.
- Performs other related duties as requested.

- Experience working in a warehouse environment (e.g., product storage, product staging, forklifts, etc.)
- Driving a forklift (e.g., performing basic operations such as driving forwards, driving backwards, lifting and lowering boom, maneuvering in tight areas without damaging product, etc.)
- Working with racking systems and loading/unloading pallets (e.g., pulling and placing pallets on/off vertical product racking systems and trucks, maximizing storage by stacking products vertically, etc.)
- Experience working in a team environment (e.g., cooperating with co-workers, joint problem solving, etc.) Strength and Physical Requirements
- Must be alert and focused.
- Must be able to perform physically demanding activities (such as standing, walking, squatting, kneeling, sitting, climbing stairs and balancing for long periods of time)
- Regularly lift and/or move objects weighing 10-80Ibs and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100Ibs with assistance.
- Able to work in extreme temperatures.
