Order Picker Job Description We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Order Picker/Packer to join our warehouse team. This role is responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment in a fast-paced supply store environment. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, efficient, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities Select products from warehouse shelves using pick tickets, RF scanners, or voice-picking systems. Accurately pack items into boxes, ensuring proper labeling and shipping documentation. Verify product quantities and inspect items for damage before shipment. Maintain organized and clean work areas to support efficient order fulfillment. Prepare orders for shipment, including palletizing and shrink-wrapping when needed. Follow company safety guidelines and operational procedures at all times. Assist with inventory counts, restocking, and general warehouse tasks as needed. Meet productivity and accuracy standards in a high-volume environment. Essential Skills Experience in packaging, picking, and inventory management. Proficiency with customer order sheets and RF scanners. Ability to read and understand pick lists, packing slips, and basic shipping documents. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous warehouse, picking/packing, or order fulfillment experience preferred. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.30/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
