MPS provides back office support, warehousing, and, fulfillment for Macmillan US, and is their primary distribution facility for North America. Purpose of the
Role:
Employee must operate ground level equipment including the Pacer and Walkie/Rider. In addition this employee will be responsible for the systemic receipts of inventories with other duties as assigned. Key responsibilities/tasks Utilize Pacer and/or Walkie Riders to move inventories (stack, load, unload, pallets as needed). Certification on this equipment will be required Verification receipt of appropriate documentation, labeling, packaging, and product quantities. Accurately enter data into the MRP system to process receipt of inventories. Attention to detail will be critical to ensure the accurate identification, labelling, qty's as compared to the BOL details. Identify, document and report inventory variances and damage. Support Cubi-Scan and Pallet Stripping functions as needed. (Height

Education:
High School diploma or equivalent
Certifications:
Rolling Equipment Operator (Pacer, Walkie Rider)
Language Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondences, and memos. Ability to write legibly and effectively present information one-on-one and to employees and management.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to count, add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple instructions, and to deal with standardized structure with only occasional or no variables.
Other skills and abilities:
Computer skills to include basic knowledge of PCs and keyboarding and a working knowledge of our MPS system. Hourly Rate:
$18.8500 to $23.0500 While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to bend; stoop; walk; stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
