In this vital role, you will operate various heavy equipment, including reach trucks and forklifts, to accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment. Your attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols will ensure smooth warehouse operations, supporting our commitment to timely delivery and exceptional service. This position offers an engaging environment for motivated individuals eager to contribute to a fast-paced distribution center. Duties Use barcode scanning technology and RF scanners to accurately select items for customer orders in accordance with order specifications. Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling tools safely and efficiently. Manage inventory through warehouse management systems (WMS), ensuring stock levels are accurate and properly organized. Load and unload shipments using appropriate material handling equipment while following safety protocols and PPE guidelines. Pack items securely for shipping, ensuring quality control standards are met during the packing process. Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, verifying shipments against documentation and updating inventory systems accordingly. Maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to safety procedures related to manual handling, heavy lifting, and equipment operation. Skills Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and barcode scanners. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management practices. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for order fulfillment and inventory counts. Familiarity with warehouse operations including picking & packing, shipping & receiving, and stock replenishment. Excellent manual handling skills with a focus on safety protocol adherence and PPE use. Experience in warehouse supervision or leadership roles is a plus but not required. Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors in a fast-paced environment.
