Henry's Market is looking for a dependable, self-motivated Cleaning & Packaging Associate to join our team. This is a 32-hour-per-week position +/- that will work between both our meat processing facility and our retail store. This is a hands-on position for someone who takes pride in doing a job well, pays attention to details, and can work productively without needing constant supervision. We are looking for someone who sees what needs to be done and gets it done. Responsibilities Cleaning and sanitizing processing rooms, equipment, work surfaces, floors, and other areas of the facilities Following established cleaning and sanitation procedures carefully and completely Packaging, labeling, weighing, and preparing finished products Checking labels, weights, dates, product information, and packaging for accuracy Assisting with cleaning, stocking, organizing, and other general duties at our retail store as needed Following food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures Helping with other production, packaging, cleaning, store, or facility tasks as needed What We're Looking For The right person for this position will be: Reliable and dependable — someone we can count on to show up as scheduled and on time Self-motivated and able to stay productive without constant supervision Detail-oriented, with pride in doing the job correctly and completely Someone who takes pride in their work and cares about the quality of the finished job Able to follow written and verbal instructions Able to read, write, and complete basic paperwork with reasonable proficiency Comfortable with basic math, including simple fractions, decimals, and reading weights on a digital scale Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Flexible and willing to work at either our processing facility or retail store, depending on business needs Willing to help wherever needed and remain productive throughout the scheduled shift Valid driver's license is a plus.
