THIS IS A SEASONAL POSITION THAT LASTS FROM 10/19-12/16. ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS THROUGH 9/14.

Join our small-and-mighty Marshmallow Packaging Team for the winter season! We're looking for an awesome, adaptable, patient Packaging Assistant with an interest in working in an entrepreneurial environment. You are dexterous, a quick learner, and pay attention to details without getting caught up in them! Packaging the product and delighting in sweetness, this person is ultimately responsible for preparing our marshmallows ready to get into the hands of thousands. You must be located in Vermont and have ~11am-4pm availability in South Burlington on Mondays - Thursdays. Please note, our kitchen will be closed on Veteran's Day and Thanksgiving.

You don't mind doing the same thing every day: while it'll be a different flavor every day, you will be packaging marshmallows over, and over, and over again. You love getting in the flow and becoming a MASTER at one thing. You're utterly dependable: you feel a sense of ownership of the things you commit to, and take pride in showing up consistently and doing your job well. You're quick on your feet: you have a high EQ and can adapt to the needs of the task in front of you. You're comfortable and excited to work on a team : this position will be social, as you'll be interacting with teammates all day long! You're flexible & comfortable with the ebbs and flows of working with a growing company: a bit of excitement about working in a bootstrapped entrepreneurial setting is a must! You are, at heart, a person who likes to go with the flow and can stay productive when the demands of work are sometimes unpredictable.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE JOB

Packaging / production set up and clean down Separating and tossing marshmallows in powdered sugar, bagging, sealing, and labeling marshmallows for sale Support packaging other holiday treats (s'mores kits! floof! advent calendars, and more!) Able to lift 50+ lbs as needed Able to stand for long periods of time Helping maintain our pristine kitchen (top down cleaning, dishes, etc.) Upholding food safety standards Other duties as assigned - may look like supporting our Fulfillment team by making boxes or packing e-commerce orders, cutting marshmallows into minis, or similar!
