Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Picker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day shipping and warehouse operations, ensuring that orders are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for shipment. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values teamwork, and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly and efficiently.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Pick, pre-pack, check, and prepare products for shipment with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Operate handheld scanners, hand tools, and forklifts to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
- Perform quality control (QC) checks on picked items and final shipments.
- Properly pack, seal, label, and attach packing lists to all outbound shipments.
- Load carrier trucks with the correct shipments and accompanying paperwork.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, ensuring aisles remain clear and safe.
- Follow daily work schedules and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
- Assist with other tasks or departments as needed, based on workload.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company procedures.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Basic computer skills; familiarity with Word, Excel, and Outlook is a plus.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Occasional overtime and shift flexibility may be required.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1+ year of experience in a fast-paced warehouse, shipping, or receiving environment preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks that require standing, bending, and reaching.
