Picker/Packer Job Description Join our dynamic team in Lakewood, WA, as a Picker/Packer with a renowned toy company that has been delighting children and adults alike for over 40 years. As our operations expand, we are seeking experienced individuals to efficiently locate and pack orders, primarily consisting of Nee Doh products, for shipment to major clients like Walmart, Target, and TikTok. Responsibilities Prioritize safety in all tasks. Receive, sort, and organize inventory. Pull and pack products based on daily orders. Utilize scanners to read barcodes or use paper pick tickets to fulfill customer orders. Maintain accuracy in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Monitor product quality and report any issues to prevent safety hazards. Employ a continuous improvement mindset to troubleshoot problems. Safely handle products heavier than 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks such as standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, climbing stairs, and reaching frequently during shifts. Keep the assigned area clean and organized. Essential Skills At least 1 year of similar experience. Experience with RF scanning. Proficiency in using a pallet jack. Ability to stand on feet all day and lift/push/pull up to 60 lbs. Strong teamwork mentality and willingness to assist in various tasks. Work Environment Work in a supportive and fast-paced environment with a shift from 3pm to 11:30pm, Monday to Friday, located in SW Lakewood, WA. The role offers a competitive hourly rate with an additional shift differential. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lakewood, WA.
