Packer Job Classification - Non-Exempt / Hourly Reports to:
Packing Manager Location:
Monroe, WA, 98272
Shift:
Night Shift 10:30pm to 6:30am
Pay:
$17.50 per hour with a $1 per hour shift premium Job Summary At Wet Noses Natural Dog Treat Company, the packer is responsible for packing finished product, which includes direct and indirect contact with food. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Pack finished product into secondary packaging, then into cases, then onto a pallet. Applying labels to product. Using an automatic pallet jack, when warranted, to transport the full pallet from the stacking area to the shrink wrap machine and to the final storage/shipping area. Responsible to report food safety and quality issues to personnel with authority to initiate action (Any member of management and/or supervisor). Wash hands prior to direct handling of food. Follows all
SQF/HACCP
protocol. Qualifications and Requirements The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and /or ability required to perform the job of packer successfully. Very quick learner in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment. Persistent and dependable especially with attendance. Able to adapt to a constantly changing environment with flexibility to work extended hours. High degree of personal integrity and professionalism with solid business acumen.
Language:
