Job Description

Job Description The Shipping Associate/Picker is responsible for ensuring all orders are shipped completely and accurately in a timely manner while following Sensitech policies and procedures. Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Perform all shipments of domestic and international sales orders completely and accurately.
  • Over Time may be required to ensure all orders are shipped in a timely manner.
  • Pick and pack order according to packing instruction.
  • Inspect all sales orders for completeness including but not limited to packing lists, certificates, specification labels, properly programmed units, and correct packaging.
  • Ensure all shipments are complete with all lines and correct quantity.
  • Prepare international shipments
  • Check backlog daily to ensure all orders have shipped.
  • Perform end of day closing.
  • Communicate with Lead or Supervisor on any/all shipping concerns.
  • Read, understand, and execute operation procedures.
  • Collect and accept turnback's/escapes upon occurrence
  • Able to perform tasks from start to finish.
  • Maintain a clean working area/environment.
  • Able to work with a cross-functional team and work as a team player.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English fluency).
  • Strong organizational skills: ability to work with deadlines and multiple tasks.
  • Computer literacy and working knowledge of MS Outlook and Excel.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, ORACLE, EPICOR
  • Must be able to lift, bend, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Experience in international shipping and materials management a plus
  • Pallet Jack and forklift experience is a plus Knowledge of IATA requirements, preferred
