Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Picker/Packer on the 2nd shift, where your energy and attention to detail will drive efficient order fulfillment and distribution. In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and preparing products for shipment, ensuring that every order meets quality standards and customer expectations. Your expertise in warehouse operations and equipment handling will contribute to a smooth and productive workflow, supporting our commitment to excellence in warehouse distribution. Responsibilities Efficiently pick items using order picker equipment, RF scanners, and other warehouse management systems to fulfill customer orders accurately. Pack products securely, utilizing packaging materials and techniques to prevent damage during transit. Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and load/unload materials safely and effectively. Manage shipping and receiving processes, verifying inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy and completeness. Maintain inventory accuracy through stock replenishment, stocking shelves, and updating warehouse management systems. Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet company standards before packing and shipping. Support warehouse supervisor with daily tasks related to warehouse organization, safety procedures, and process improvements. Skills Proven experience operating reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and heavy equipment in a warehouse environment. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for order picking and inventory tracking. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during order fulfillment. Mechanical aptitude with basic knowledge of mechanical systems used in warehouse equipment operation. Excellent skills in shipping & receiving procedures, order picking & packing, and materials handling. Experience in warehouse distribution, quality control, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment. Effective communication skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions precisely.
