Job Description

Warehouse Picker/Packer - Job DescriptionA Warehouse Picker/Packer is responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring products are handled efficiently, inventory remains organized, and orders are shipped accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
Pick products from warehouse shelves according to order tickets, pick lists, or handheld scanners. Verify product quantities and inspect items for damage before packing. Pack orders securely to prevent damage during transportation. Label packages and prepare shipments according to company and carrier requirements. Organize and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations. Assist with receiving, unloading, and storing incoming shipments. Maintain accurate inventory counts and report discrepancies. Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment as needed. Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards. Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse policies.
Qualifications:
Previous warehouse, picking, packing, or distribution experience preferred. Ability to read work orders and follow written instructions. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Basic computer or scanner experience preferred. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift. Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Comfortable performing repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy.
Work Environment:
Warehouse or distribution center setting. Exposure to varying temperatures depending on facility conditions. Overtime and weekend work may be required during peak periods.
