Job Description

Job Summary We manufacture high quality wood fuel for the barbecue market and distribute nationally at major retail stores. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator and/or Packers to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating machinery to produce high-quality products efficiently and safely. Your experience in mechanical systems, measurement, and manufacturing processes will ensure smooth production flow and adherence to quality standards. This role may also require final packaging of our wood product onto pallets. This role uses a variety of machinery plus manual labor to pack the correct amount of wood fuel into bags. Duties Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing machines. Troubleshoot and make quick decisions while operating Keep operating environment clean Perform routine maintenance, adjustments, and tooling changes on machinery to maintain optimal operation. Handle materials with forklifts and other warehouse equipment for efficient materials handling and packaging. Collaborate with team members on assembly line tasks, fabrication projects, and quality control processes to meet production goals. Qualifications Experience operating manufacturing machinery Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tasks. Need strong attention to detail and concern for quality Experience with factory safety protocols and quality control standards in a manufacturing environment. Valid forklift certification is preferred; hands-on experience with chainsaw, hand tools and assembly line operations is a plus. This is a physically demanding role. Must be physically fit.
Shifts:

Pay:
$14.50 - $17.00 per hour
