Position Summary
The Crater/Packager is responsible for crating, uncrating, assembling, and packaging materials for domestic and international shipments. This role plays a key part in ensuring customer expectations are met through quality workmanship, on-time completion of orders, and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to a proactive safety culture.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Package and crate materials according to established procedures and customer specifications.
Build custom wooden crates using measuring tools and wood-cutting equipment.
Uncrate, assemble, and prepare materials for shipment as required.
Accurately crate and pack medical equipment for both domestic and international orders.
Maintain a high level of quality and attention to detail while meeting production deadlines.
Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers regarding packaging and shipping needs.
Follow all company safety rules, policies, and procedures to support a safe work environment.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Ability to read and follow work instructions and specifications.
Experience using measuring tools and basic woodworking or cutting equipment preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as required.
