Job Description
Production Packaging Specialist - 2nd Shift Earn up to $27.50 per hour on 2nd Shift ($25.00/hour base pay plus 10% 2nd Shift Premium). Join Our Team UPI Manufacturing is an award-winning, Christian-owned manufacturer located in Eagle, Wisconsin. We operate in a clean, modern, state-of-the-art facility producing components for U.S. military vehicles, supporting the American warfighter. We're growing and looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Production & Packaging Specialist to join our 2nd Shift team. This is a hands-on position focused on preparing finished products for shipment through inspection, finishing, kitting, light assembly, and packaging . If you take pride in your work, notice the details others may miss, and want to make sure customers receive the correct parts, quantity, and condition, we'd like to hear from you. What You'll Do Inspect finished parts for quality and completeness Identify chipped or damaged paint and perform minor paint touch-ups as needed Check for missing stamps, markings, or other required details Verify parts meet quality requirements before packaging Kit parts according to job travelers, work orders, or instructions Verify correct part numbers and quantities Perform basic assembly using hand and power tools Prepare and package completed products for shipment Organize parts, materials, and work areas Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Communicate quality concerns, missing materials, or quantity discrepancies to the appropriate supervisor What We're Looking For Strong attention to detail Ability to recognize quality issues and identify defects Ability to accurately count and verify parts Ability to read and follow job travelers, work orders, and instructions Comfortable using hand and power tools Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Ability to work effectively in a team environment Dependable attendance and reliability Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality standards Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Manufacturing, packaging, assembly, or quality inspection experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
