Picker/Packer

SUMMARY Join a stable and team-oriented distribution operation where you will play an important role in fulfilling customer orders and supporting warehouse activities. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment using inventory systems, shipping technology, and order fulfillment processes while contributing to on-time customer deliveries.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Select, verify, package, and prepare customer orders for shipment with a high level of accuracy. Utilize handheld scanning devices and warehouse inventory systems to confirm order details and maintain inventory records. Label, package, and stage products for shipment according to customer and carrier requirements. Receive incoming inventory, verify quantities, and place materials into designated storage locations. Operate shipping equipment, scales, and computer systems to generate labels and shipping documentation. Organize outgoing shipments and prepare packages for carrier pickup. Perform inventory checks and assist with maintaining accurate stock levels. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Follow established procedures to ensure products are packaged securely and shipped correctly.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to read and follow written instructions and order documentation. Basic math skills with the ability to count, verify quantities, and ensure order accuracy. Basic computer proficiency, including data entry and use of inventory or shipping systems. Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately enter and verify shipping information. Ability to stand and walk throughout the workday in a warehouse environment. Capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to bend, reach, stretch, and access materials stored at various heights. Strong hand-eye coordination and ability to safely handle products and packaging materials. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions regarding packaging and shipment preparation. Comfortable using ladders or rolling stairs when necessary to access inventory locations.
