Picker and Packer Job Description The position involves constructing cartons and preparing batch carts for order fulfillment, accurately picking customer orders using wearable and pick-to-voice technology. You will ensure the correct products and quantities are shipped and prepare cartons for shipment to prevent transit damage. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area is crucial, and you may assist in other areas of the Value Center and manufacturing as needed. Responsibilities Construct cartons and prepare batch carts for order fulfillment. Accurately pick customer orders using wearable and pick-to-voice technology. Ensure correct products and quantities are shipped. Prepare cartons for shipment to prevent transit damage. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Assist in other areas of the Value Center and manufacturing as needed. Essential Skills Experience in picking, packing, and order picking. 6+ months of warehouse experience. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment consists of a close-knit team with employees having long tenure of 10-12 years. The position operates on the 1st shift: Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM. There may be a small amount of overtime as needed, typically no more than 5 hours a week, before or after the shift. Candidates have the flexibility to leave early if they take only their two 15-minute breaks. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
