- Thursday) Join a fast-paced production environment in Wausau, WI on 2nd shift and make an immediate impact in this temporary 2-3 month assignment.
Working four 10-hour shifts per week, you'll play a direct role in delivering high-quality health and wellness products to customers nationwide. This hands-on position involves operating and monitoring packaging equipment, performing detailed visual inspections, and ensuring products are accurately filled, labeled, packed, and palletized to strict quality standards. Ideal for self-motivated individuals who value precision, consistency, and teamwork, this opportunity offers a predictable schedule, clear expectations, and valuable experience within a regulated, quality-driven manufacturing environment.
Packager Responsibilities:
- Ensuring machine is labeling and filling bottles of pills properly
- Placing filled bottles into boxes by hand
- Monitoring machine to ensure caps are placed on bottles correctly
- Performing visual inspection of products as they move along the conveyor belt
- Removing defective products from the line
- Taping and labeling packages
- Palletizing finished packages Requirements for
Packager:
- High School Diploma
- Knowledge of GMP's preferred
- Previous experience working in a food environment preferred
- Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, policies and procedures
- Able to work effectively with various departments
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
- Able to lift 30-40 pounds throughout the day
- Able to push and pull up to 100 pounds as needed
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to stand and walk up to 12 hours per day
- Able to reach across conveyor belts
- Able to work on a conveyor belt
- Able to bend, twist, reach and crouch throughout shift
