Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead procurement activities for raw materials, components, equipment, and services across domestic and international markets.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies that support production goals, cost reduction initiatives, and long term supply chain stability.
- Identify, evaluate, and qualify global suppliers; negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure competitive advantages.
- Manage supplier relationships, performance, and compliance with quality, delivery, and service expectations.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, planning, and quality teams to ensure materials meet technical specifications and manufacturing requirements.
- Monitor market trends, commodity pricing, and global supply chain risks to inform purchasing decisions.
- Responsible for purchase order creation, approvals, and procurement workflows to ensure accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Resolve supplier issues related to delivery delays, quality concerns, or capacity constraints.
- Lead cost saving initiatives, value engineering efforts, and continuous improvement projects.
- Maintain accurate procurement data, contracts, and supplier records within ERP/MRP systems.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and inventory optimization efforts.

https://insightglobal.com/workforce-privacy-policy/. Skills and Requirements- 5-10 years of procurement or supply chain experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience managing international suppliers, global sourcing, and cross border logistics.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, BOM structures, and production planning.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar).
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Engineering, or related field.
