Job Description

Job Overview GlobalStar Aerospace LLC is an FAA-certified Part 145 maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) facility specializing primarily in UH-60 Black Hawk and S-70 platform component repair, overhaul, and sustainment support. We also support select fixed-wing and other rotary-wing programs. GlobalStar provides repair services, inventory solutions, and global parts sourcing for military, government, and commercial aviation customers. As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a highly motivated and organized Procurement Manager to strengthen our supply chain operations and support our expanding repair capabilities. This position will oversee procurement activities while also supporting shipping, receiving, inventory control, and work-order coordination within our repair station. Responsibilities Source and procure
UH-60/S-70
aircraft components, repair materials, rotables, consumables, tooling, and other aviation parts required to support maintenance and overhaul operations. Identify and source hard-to-find aviation components through manufacturers, distributors, repair facilities, surplus suppliers, and other approved vendors. Solicit and evaluate vendor quotations based on pricing, lead time, quality, traceability, and overall value. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other purchasing terms with vendors. Create, issue, and manage purchase orders, repair orders, and outside-service orders. Track open purchase orders and vendor repairs to ensure materials and components are delivered within required turnaround times. Coordinate with production and management to prioritize purchasing requirements based on customer commitments, work-order needs, and operational urgency. Assist with the creation, review, and management of internal work orders from induction through completion. Ensure required parts, materials, documentation, and outside services are available to support each work order. Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments of aircraft components, materials, tools, and customer property. Prepare shipping documentation, packing lists, commercial invoices, and other required domestic or international shipping records. Receive incoming materials and components, verify quantities and condition, and ensure documentation matches the applicable purchase order or work order. Review aviation traceability documentation, including FAA Form 8130-3, certificates of conformance, teardown reports, maintenance releases, and supporting trace records. Maintain accurate inventory records for aircraft components, consumables, repair materials, and customer-owned property. Perform inventory transactions, transfers, adjustments, cycle counts, and periodic physical inventory audits. Monitor inventory levels and recommend replenishment of frequently used materials, consumables, and repair parts. Ensure parts and materials are properly identified, labeled, preserved, stored, and segregated in accordance with company procedures and applicable FAA requirements. Help identify and resolve inventory discrepancies, documentation issues, shipping damage, shortages, and vendor performance concerns. Maintain accurate purchasing, inventory, shipping, receiving, and work-order information within Pentagon 2000 or the company's applicable ERP system. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with vendors, customers, freight carriers, repair facilities, and internal departments. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to procurement, inventory accuracy, workflow efficiency, turnaround time, and supply-chain performance. The ideal candidate understands urgency, can source difficult aviation components, negotiates effectively with vendors, and is comfortable managing multiple operational responsibilities. This individual must be detail-oriented and capable of helping ensure that GlobalStar's repair station maintains efficient turnaround times, accurate records, and dependable support for its customers. Preferred Qualifications Aviation, aerospace, MRO, manufacturing, logistics, warehouse, or defense procurement experience. Familiarity with FAA Part 145 repair-station operations. Experience sourcing aviation components, materials, rotables, consumables, or related aviation parts. Experience with shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, inventory control, or work-order management. Knowledge of military aviation supply chains is highly desirable. Familiarity with aviation traceability documentation, including FAA Form 8130-3, certificates of conformance, maintenance releases, and supporting trace paperwork. Experience preparing domestic and international shipping documentation is preferred. Strong vendor negotiation, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage competing priorities and respond effectively to urgent operational requirements. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and general business software. Pentagon 2000 ERP experience is a major plus.

$16.00 - $21.00 per year
