Project Buyer Opportunity Northern California / Nevada | Up to $180,000 Base Salary + Benefits A leading and rapidly growing electrical construction organization is seeking an experienced Project Buyer to join its expanding procurement team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a procurement professional with strong electrical industry knowledge to play a key role in delivering large-scale commercial, industrial, and mission-critical projects. Working closely with project teams, suppliers, and key stakeholders, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing major electrical equipment, managing supplier relationships, and helping ensure successful project execution from procurement through delivery. Key Responsibilities Lead procurement activities for major electrical projects Source and purchase critical electrical equipment and materials Manage supplier relationships, negotiations, and vendor performance Develop procurement strategies for long lead-time equipment Monitor manufacturing and delivery schedules to support project timelines Partner with project management and operations teams throughout the project lifecycle Identify cost savings and value engineering opportunities Mitigate supply chain risks and proactively resolve procurement challenges Equipment & Product Categories Experience purchasing any of the following is highly desirable: Switchgear Generators UPS Systems Lighting Packages Electrical Distribution Equipment Long Lead-Time Electrical Equipment Custom Manufactured Electrical Products Large Project Procurement Packages Ideal Background We are interested in speaking with professionals currently working within: Electrical Contractors Electrical Construction Companies Electrical Manufacturers Electrical Distributors Major Electrical Vendors & Suppliers Potential backgrounds may include project purchasing, strategic sourcing, procurement, supply chain management, or electrical equipment sales support.
