Job Description
VP of Growth – DefenseTech Start-up – Washington D.C. Darwin have partnered with a Defense Tech start-up who are poised for huge growth, having established themselves as a leader within their field, providing an innovative solution to a key problem the warfighter faces in today's world. They are now looking to hire a pivotal role for the organisation, a VP of Growth who will be responsible for scaling their revenue with the DoD and structuring the BD function for success in the years to come. Experience of Interest Proven strategic leadership, managing successful teams and overseeing $100m+ DoD contracts. Strong individual track record of securing contracts for start-ups/scale-ups with the DoD. Experience progressing from R&D through to OTA's / PoR's, this can be across Army, Air Force or Navy domains. Strong understanding of Defense procurement processes and a network of decision makers across the DoD. US Citizen, with active TS/SCI clearance or ability to gain. Pay circa $250,000 – $300,000 + Comms (OTE $500k+) + Equity, to be based in Washington D.C. or spend at least 1 week per month there.
