Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced procurement specialist to oversee the acquisition of facilities goods and services and play a vital role in supporting operations, maintenance, and capital improvement projects. Our team values strategic thinking, effective negotiation, and operational excellence to ensure timely and cost-efficient procurement activities.
Responsibilities:
Manage supplier relationships and support the execution of facilities operations, maintenance, and capital improvement projects across multiple sites. Prepare and issue Requests for Proposal/Requests for Quote, perform price analyses, and develop negotiation strategies for goods and services related to facilities. Construct various contract types, including service agreements, construction contracts, and long-range procurement or sourcing partnerships. Lead procurement activities from requisition through final invoice payment, ensuring resolution of process issues and achievement of program objectives.
Required:
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in procurement and supplier management, with emphasis on facilities, MRO, or indirect categories. Experience negotiating and managing multiple contract types, including Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Time and Material (T&M), and service-based agreements. Understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and familiarity with compliance and safety standards such as OSHA. Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or similar with a minimum of 5 years of supply chain experience, or a Master's degree with at least 3 years of related experience.
