Job Description

Description Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Sourcing to lead and implement sourcing initiatives aligned with the company's global sales strategy. This role will oversee sourcing operations, supplier management, and cross-functional procurement initiatives while driving operational efficiency and long-term supplier partnerships. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with expertise in strategic sourcing, supply chain management, supplier negotiations, and project execution in a fast-paced environment, preferably within the automotive industry. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with global business and sales objectives Lead supplier sourcing, negotiations, and relationship management initiatives Drive cost optimization, quality improvements, and supply continuity across sourcing activities Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and business stakeholders Manage sourcing projects and procurement initiatives from planning through execution Deliver executive-level presentations and sourcing recommendations Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and risk management strategies Mentor and lead sourcing and procurement team members Requirements Education Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, Project Management, or a related field preferred Experience Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience required Previous experience in sourcing, engineering management, or supply chain management required Automotive industry experience strongly preferred Strong background in strategic sourcing and supplier management Skills Strategic planning and sourcing strategy development Project management expertise Supplier negotiation and relationship management • Executive presentation and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AI tools Languages English required Spanish preferred
