Description:
Kalos Services is hiring a Purchasing Systems & Materials Lead to build and maintain a more consistent, reliable purchasing process across all trade departments. The role focuses on simplifying how materials are selected, priced, and purchased so field teams and purchasing agents can work more efficiently and with fewer errors. The goal is to ensure the right materials are used, the right vendors are selected, pricing is accurate, and the process is repeatable. The position will serve as the central owner of purchasing systems, material catalog structure, vendor alignment, and purchasing standards. You will help establish Kojo as the company's system of record for purchasing and material selection. This is not a traditional procurement manager role. The position does not directly manage purchasing staff but instead drives alignment, structure, and process across departments.
Compensation:
$90,000 - $110,000 salary based on experience
Location:
On-Site (Clermont, FL)
Responsibilities:
Build, document, and improve purchasing processes to ensure consistency across departments Organize and maintain material catalogs across HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and other trades Establish and maintain standards for vendor usage and pricing accuracy Support implementation and ongoing use of Kojo as the purchasing system of record Partner with field teams to ensure materials are practical, accessible, and aligned with job needs Work cross-functionally with service, projects, construction, warehouse, accounting, and operations teams Provide guidance and structure to purchasing agents without direct supervision Identify gaps in current workflows and implement practical solutions Ensure purchasing processes are followed and continuously improved
Requirements:
Experience in one or more of the following: trades, warehouse operations, purchasing support, estimating, operations coordination, vendor/distribution, or process improvement Strong attention to detail and ability to organize complex or incomplete information Ability to build and implement structured processes across multiple teams Comfortable working across departments and with different personalities Strong follow-through and accountability Practical, solutions-oriented mindset
