Job Description
Description Demco is seeking a strategic leader to strengthen supplier partnerships, improve inventory performance, reduce supply risk, and advance sourcing and materials management. Reporting to the Executive Vice President, this role works across the organization to support profitable growth. Key Responsibilities Develop sourcing strategies and lead supplier selection, negotiations, contracting, development, quality initiatives, and performance management. Own inventory strategy, materials planning, replenishment, accuracy, and working capital performance, and improve forecast-to-material alignment. Reduce excess and obsolete inventory while maintaining material availability and production support. Monitor tariffs, commodities, market conditions, and supply risks. Lead purchasing personnel, improve processes and systems, and use KPIs and analytics to drive savings and better decisions. Build a high-performing team and strong partnerships across Operations, Engineering, Finance, Sales, and Product Management. Own sourcing, supplier performance, materials planning, inventory health, and material availability outcomes while partnering closely with Operations, which remains accountable for manufacturing execution, schedule alignment, throughput, labor planning, and production performance. Requirements Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. 8+ years of progressive sourcing, procurement, supply chain, materials, or manufacturing experience. Proven success in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, materials management, and leadership within a manufacturing environment. Strong analytical, financial, business, communication, and leadership skills.
