Purpose of the Job The Carrier Sourcing Manager is responsible for creating and developing partnerships with key carriers inside the WorldWide Logistics network. Responsibilities and Duties Source and onboard reliable/trustworthy carrier partners to fulfill WorldWide Logistics customers' needs Negotiate rates and capacity for specific projects with their carrier network Manage key KPI metrics with their assigned carriers Collaborate with other Operations and Sales teams to ensure sufficient network capacity Identify Value-Add opportunities with closest carrier partners Introduce and educate select carrier partners to the WorldWide Load Board and maximize usage Identify potential carrier partners for drop trailer networks across the domestic U.S. Proactively prepare Worldwide Logistics carrier network and capacity for seasonal demand Requirements 1-3 years of experience in logistics brokerage, carrier sales, and B2B sales Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills Being a "go getter" and having the ability to identify and overcome sales objections Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environment while hitting project deadlines Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills for "outside the box" solutions Knowledge and desire to learn more on the U.S. Freight market Education High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Business or related field preferred What's in it for You?
