Job Description

Our client, a healthcare-focused organization, is seeking a Procurement Manager to join their team. As a Procurement Manager, you will be part of the procurement department supporting strategic sourcing and supplier management initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, excellent stakeholder management, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Meridian, Idaho What's the Job? Lead supplier negotiations and contracting activities while developing and executing cost-savings strategies and initiatives. Manage the end-to-end strategic sourcing process, including planning and executing competitive bidding events (RFPs, RFQs, RFIs). Evaluate supplier proposals, facilitate supplier selection, and oversee supplier communications throughout the sourcing lifecycle. Prepare, analyze, negotiate, and execute supplier contracts with a focus on terms and conditions relevant to healthcare and health insurance operations. Develop and negotiate service level agreements (SLAs), performance metrics, and contractual obligations with suppliers. What's Needed? Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of seven (7) years of supply chain, procurement, strategic sourcing, or supplier management experience. Demonstrated experience negotiating complex supplier contracts and managing vendor relationships. Experience leading competitive sourcing events, including RFP, RFQ, and RFI processes. Experience within the health insurance, healthcare, or related health services industry. What's in it for me?
