Job Description

Article Share Imperia Batteries, a division of Physical Sciences Inc., is seeking a full-time Purchasing and Inventory Administrator to join our team at our Methuen, MA facility. This individual will support the procurement process by handling administrative tasks, maintaining relationships with vendors, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. The ideal candidate will assist with intake of new materials, verification of required documentation, inventory management, order processing, and communication with suppliers.
Specific duties will include:
Handle any required purchasing, shipping and receiving documentation. Assist in researching new vendors and comparing competing suppliers. Maintain up to date and precise records of orders, shipments, inventory, and reports. Intake of new materials and input of required documentation in the quality management system. Interaction with production and research teams to ensure orders are placed and items received to maintain production schedules. Weekly communication of anticipated delivery schedules and receipt of materials to internal staff members and management. Following up with suppliers for confirmation of orders.
Requirements Include:
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks with excellent attention to detail Demonstrate proactive approaches to problem-solving Ability to achieve goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Ability to act quickly and decisively in a fast paced, dynamic environment Exceptional analytical, planning, and organizational skills Demonstrate an ability to communicate effectively, work well with others, exercise sound judgment and display initiative and innovation on the job
Experience:
BS degree with 2+ years in a related field U.S. Citizenship is required.
Pay Range:
The estimated annual base salary range for this role is $53,000- $65,000 . The actual salary offered will depend on the candidate's experience, education, and specialized skills.
