In this role, you will oversee day-to-day purchasing execution while shaping scalable processes that ensure material readiness, supplier reliability, and cost discipline across a fast-moving, regulated manufacturing environment. This is a high-impact position that partners closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Operations to keep our automation systems delivered on time and to the highest standards. Role & Responsibilities Lead and develop the Purchasing team to ensure timely PO placement and follow-through Ensure material availability to support production, service, and new product introductions Partner cross-functionally with Planning, Engineering, Quality, and Operations Manage supplier performance (quality, cost, delivery) and drive corrective actions Negotiate pricing, lead times, and commercial terms Mitigate supply risks through proactive shortage management and dual sourcing Drive cost savings and continuous improvement initiatives Maintain ERP data integrity and procurement process compliance within an ISO-regulated environment Qualification/Requirements Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field 5+ years of procurement/purchasing experience Prior team leadership experience Manufacturing experience preferred Experience in regulated industries (medical device, life sciences, or capital equipment preferred) Strong ERP/MRP experience required; Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) preferred but not required Proven negotiation and supplier management skills What We're Looking For Strong execution and operational discipline Data-driven decision making Ability to operate with urgency and accountability Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
