Ensures materials, outsourced components, and vendor services are purchased in alignment with scope, schedule, and budget. Scope & Autonomy Manages moderate-complexity procurement packages independently Regular negotiation responsibility Interprets and applies category strategies Identifies basic risks and escalates appropriately Accountable for achieving defined annual cost-savings targets through negotiation and strategic sourcing. Performance against these targets will be evaluated year over year. Responsibilities Act as procurement liaison for defined project scopes including third-party services and outsourcing. Issue RFQs/RFPs for both materials and third-party services, organize supplier responses, and lead basic bid evaluations. Work with engineering and PMs to validate requirements. Develop POs that include necessary drawings, specifications, vendor services agreements/SOWs and terms.

Manage orders cradle-to-grave:

confirmations, expediting, changes, delivery, and invoice closure. Resolve routine supplier or delivery issues. Contribute to vendor qualification and category strategy initiatives. Prepare procurement status reports, spend summaries, and risk updates. Lead supplier negotiations to drive measurable commercial value, consistently meeting or exceeding assigned annual savings targets. Track, document, and report savings monthly and annually, with performance evaluated year over year as part of the formal performance cycle. Minimum Qualifications Experienced procurement in manufacturing or similar field Strong understanding of competitive bidding and supplier management Demonstrated cost analysis ability ERP/MRP required Bachelor's degree preferred;
