Education / Training
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred Basic Reading, Writing and Math skills Proficient Excel skills Related Experience/Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or procurement, required in the meat industry Experience with inventory management systems and forecasting tools. Expertise in international procurement, particularly within Australia, New Zealand, and South America preferred Qualifications Strong knowledge of import/export regulations, logistics, and compliance standards. Proficiency in market analysis tools and platforms (e.g., Urner Barry) and a solid understanding of industry trends. Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with a proven ability to manage complex documentation and timelines. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with business goals Strong communication and negotiation skills for effective collaboration with suppliers and internal teams. Familiarity with SQF standards and audit requirements is a significant advantage. High proficiency with Excel and ability to effectively interact with ERP system Physical Requirements Must be able to perform the following physical activities: Job requires workers to lift to 60 lbs.must be able to:
