We're searching for a proven procurement leader from the wholesale foodservice distribution, retail food distribution, or multi-unit restaurant industries to take ownership of purchasing, supplier performance, and inventory health for a high?volume, fast?moving $600 million operation. If you know how to drive Service, Fill Rate, Shrink, and Obsolete Inventory - this role puts you at the center of the operation.What You'll Lead:
- Oversee all buying, supplier service, shrink, and obsolete inventory.
- Lead and develop a team of Category Managers and Buyers.
- Own the KPIs that define customer experience: Service + Fill Rate
- Build a standardized category management platform
- Strengthen supplier partnerships and drive accountability
- Improve forecasting, purchasing discipline, and inbound reliability
- Integrate procurement strategy with operations, finance, and sales
- Implement policies, processes, and systems that elevate performance
- Reduce waste, improve turns, and protect margin This is a high?

- 10+ years in procurement/purchasing within wholesale foodservice distribution, retail food distribution, or multi-unit restaurant industry (Definite requirement)
- Deep knowledge of integrated procurement + inventory systems
- Proven success improving service, fill rate, shrink, and obsolete inventory
- Prior supervisory/people leadership experience a must
- High School Diploma required (Associate/Bachelor's preferred)
- CPP certification highly desired
