$113,000-$132,000 The Arch Energy Direct Purchase Regional Lead - Project Manager (DPRL-PM) will serve as a main point of contact for regional stakeholders, including Regional Directors, Project Executives, Owners, OPMs, Developers, Architects, Engineers and Subcontractors. The DPRL-PM is responsible for oversight of Direct Purchase responsibilities in a region, and the scope / packages full life cycle including early engagement, purchasing, recommendation, award, budget, cost, schedule, risk management, resource management, quality and safety while providing exceptional customer service. The DPRL-PM will oversee the implementation of a Raving Fans action plan and play a key role in business development including networking events, marketing initiatives, proposal preparation and interviews.
Responsibilities / Essential
Functions Involvement and early engagement in project preconstruction process Provision of initial Direct Purchase equipment budgetary and lead time information to project Direct Purchase scope demarcation, constructability review and confirmation of final scope With project team and legal, identification of project Owner flow-down requirements Direct Purchase Vendor identification Request for Proposal (RFP) preparation and issuance Request for Information (RFI) coordination RFP response review and descoping sessions Bid levelling, risk identification and mitigation proposals Direct Purchase Recommendations Material Purchase Order awards Project & Vendor kick-off meetings Submittal expediting, review, comment coordination and approval Scope release and on-going expediting Review of updated project documentation and drawings to identify scope changes Management of changes as appropriate Equipment inspection and testing coordination Equipment transportation and storage coordination Coordination of vendor support for installation and start-up Coordination of Warranty certificates and work as needed Coordination of final For Record (FR) documentation Package Close-out, lesson learnt and feedback Project feedback (Raving Fans) Updating systems to ensure accurate status of package Overall management of package / Direct Purchase regional financials, including cost reporting, monthly requisitions, review and approval of invoices, ensure timely completion, management of the requisition process to maintain cash flow throughout the project and address/communicate issues proactively and promptly. Working with wider Direct Purchase team to ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) are updated and fit for purpose Representing and being primary point of contact for Direct Purchase within specified region. Includes attending regional meetings as appropriate. Representing Direct Purchase, and wider Arch Energy / Consigli business, in external events Mentor & manage multiple team members •Provide evaluation(s) of team members on performance and identify training needs. Conduct training and development of others. Perform safety walks with field and safety staff and record observations. Assist in preparation and present at interviews for project pursuits. Strong negotiation skills Ability to understand conditions of contracts Required Experience A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture preferred. 5+ years of experience within the construction industry in full lifecycle purchasing, project management or similar role. OSHA-10 and OSHA-30 preferred. Additional proficiencies may include cost management software (Timberline, Sage preferred), scheduling software (Primavera P6 preferred) and construction management software (Procore preferred).
