We are seeking a highly organized Estimator & Purchasing Manager who can help us build scalable systems while producing accurate construction budgets. This role will directly impact project profitability and will work closely with ownership and project management to ensure projects are well planned before construction begins. What You Will Do Prepare material takeoffs and construction estimates from plans Build detailed job cost budgets and cost breakdowns Manage vendor and subcontractor bidding Generate purchase orders for materials and trades Negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors Maintain and improve our construction cost database Assist sales with pricing for customer upgrades and custom features Support project managers in controlling project costs What We're Looking For Ideal candidates will have: Experience estimating residential construction or metal buildings Strong understanding of construction materials and scopes of work Ability to read and interpret construction drawings Strong Excel / spreadsheet skills Vendor negotiation experience High attention to detail Ability to build scalable systems (EOS) Bonus Experience Barndominium or post-frame construction Lumber yard purchasing experience Residential construction estimating Building supply sales Compensation Salary based on experience Performance bonuses possible Opportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding builder Paid time off & holidays 401(k) and health insurance stipend Work Environment (Awesome) Primarily office based with occasional job site visits.
