As a Procurement Manager, you will be tasked with a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to: 1. Developing and implementing procurement strategies and policies. 2. Managing relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring the best possible terms and conditions. 3. Overseeing all procurement activities, ensuring they align with project timelines and budgets. 4. Conducting market research to identify potential new suppliers and products. 5. Managing and mitigating risks associated with procurement processes. 6. Coordinating with project managers and other key stakeholders to ensure all procurement needs are met. 7. Negotiating contracts with suppliers to achieve the best value for money. 8. Implementing production planning strategies to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness. 9. Regularly reviewing and evaluating supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and performance metrics. 10. Developing and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the construction industry, including market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field. 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience within procurement. 3. Proven experience with vendor management and contract negotiations/review. 4. Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable terms. 5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers. 6. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions. 7. Proficiency in procurement software and related technology. 8. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team. 9. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and act decisively.
