Job Description:
Role Overview We are seeking a procurement professional to support sourcing and acquisition of materials for both direct and indirect requirements. This role involves managing purchase orders, supplier coordination, and supporting operational and engineering initiatives. This position operates in a fast-paced environment requiring quick turnaround of material requirements to support ongoing build and development activities. The ideal candidate should be adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple priorities while maintaining efficiency and accuracy. Key Responsibilities Manage procurement activities for assigned scopes of work (SOWs) Create and maintain purchase orders in alignment with business needs Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials Track and improve vendor on-time delivery performance Conduct competitive sourcing and evaluate supplier capabilities Identify risks and provide recommendations for supplier selection Support process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives Participate in team meetings to communicate risks, updates, and opportunities Maintain and update procurement tracking tools and dashboards Ensure compliance with internal procurement processes and policies Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 3+ years of procurement/purchasing experience OR 7+ years of relevant experience in procurement without a degree Preferred Qualifications Experience in fast-paced or high-demand procurement environments Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Kaizen) Ability to manage competing priorities with a sense of urgency Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills Key Skills Purchase Order Management Supplier Sourcing & Evaluation Vendor Relationship Management Risk Assessment Supply Chain Coordination Process Improvement
