GED Full Job Description Primary Job Duties:
- Includes but is not limited to: Manage inventory levels and par standards to ensure uninterrupted daily operations while optimizing cost efficiency. Oversee material management processes, including requisitions, updates, secured storage, and accurate documentation of housekeeping supplies. Monitor financial performance by analyzing monthly operating supply expenses, usage trends, and budget compliance. Leverage profit & loss statements to guide purchasing decisions and support annual budget planning. Partners with vendors and the purchasing team to resolve product issues, manage obsolete inventory, maintain cost-effective agreements, and evaluate sustainable and innovative product solutions. Coordinate department-wide operational procedures and communication, including standardized workflows, inventory control, equipment repair oversight, and timely updates on backorders or product changes in collaboration with Sourcing and Procurement. Ensure functionality and operational readiness of all departmental equipment, coordinating maintenance and repairs with approved vendors as needed. Develop and evaluate a forecast plan for key hotel items, like linen, while ensuring suppliers produce timely production and delivery of goods and services. Coordinate with and support property to conduct recurring linen/terry inventories at pre-determined intervals Serve as the primary liaison for laundry, dry cleaning, linen operations, and vendor relationships, monitoring service quality, pick-up schedules, product integrity, and delivery across all shifts. Oversee procurement of all uniforms, ensuring adherence to brand standards, quality expectations, and cost efficiency. Manage uniform lifecycle replacement to maintain adequate supply and minimize losses. Partner with vendors and internal stakeholders to source, evaluate, and implement uniform solutions that enhance team member experience and operational efficiency. Support team member training and compliance initiatives by tracking equipment usage, system proficiency, onboarding progress, safety standards, OSHA compliance, and required certifications. Utilize a personal device or cellular phone to perform job-related tasks, access operational tools, and review company documents as needed. Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.Qualifications:
- Includes but is not limited to: 2+ years of prior relevant experience working with inventory and supplies, preferably in a warehouse setting with supervisory responsibilities required Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidaysPreferred :
Previous experience working in a warehouse/inventory in a Hotel/Resort setting.Minimum Education and Experience:
At least 21 years of age. High School Diploma or equivalent. A minimum of one year's experience working in the housekeeping or a related field.Certificates, Licenses, Regulations:
